How to Secure your facebook account from Hackers?

Today I would like to give some tips to secure your facebook account because I got no of requests in my inbox, asking me to hack a facebook account which has been hacked by someone else from the owner. (I don't believe such stories.. :) )
Nobody can HACK into facebook servers easily, but there is a chance that someone can compromise your account and get your password if you are not careful. However, facebook has a security feature such that if a hacker get your password also, he can't get into your account because facebook will ask additional code to enter when it is accessed from a unrecognized device, and that code will be sent to your mobile. So, If you aren't aware about this, read the following instructions to make your account safe..

01. Always use https connection instead of http
02. Use additional security features provided by Facebook
   A. Go to Account -> Account settings -> Security
   B. Click Edit on Login Notification And enable text and email notification. So,     you'll get a notification whenever your account logged in, and you can suspend  and reset the password using the email link if that login was made by some one else.
   C. Click Edit on Login Approvals

  D. Check the box "Require me to enter a security code each time an    unrecognized computer or device tries to access my account"

   E. Click Setup Now. You'll receive a code in your registered mobile

   F. Enter the code and click submit code.

   G. That's it. you are done. If you login from a new device, facebook will send a code to your mobile which you have to enter in addition to your login password.

How to make complex but easy to remember multiple passwords?

I was bit busy with my work and project so I couldn't allocate time to write down.. Today I wanted to share an easy way of creating complex, easy to remember passwords for your online accounts. Most of us use same password for all of account because we can't remember multiple passwords. But, this makes our accounts vulnerable, if one of our password compromised, we'll loose all.. The good example for this is, after LULZ hack the Sony play station accounts and released the emails and passwords, lot of Facebook accounts were accessed by others and created a bad situation. Even a FBI security personals email account was compromised because he used the same password for all of his accounts.
Now, back to the point, I wanted to share a simple trick to make your passwords.

01. Select a main password which is easy to remember. For example. If my name is anbu, Initial is J and last four digits of my Driving licence is 1234. I can create a main password using all of these combinations such as
anbu1234J or J1234Anbu or AnJ1234bu.. It can be anything which you can remember easily..

02. Add the online account name as prefix or postfix. eg. If your main password is AnJ1234bu, your Facebook password can be
fbAnJ1234bu, or AnJ1234bufb or AnJfb1234bu..
Make a standard which you gonna follow. prefix, postfix or in middle. So that you can easily remember the passwords. So, my yahoo password can be
yhAnJ1234bu, my gmail password can be gmAnj1234bu and twitter can be twAnJ1234bu.

03. Keep your structure as a secret.. :)

So, this may help you to create multiple complex passwords which also can be easily remembered. To make it more complex, make your main password with symbols, mixing capital and small, etc.. Use your creativity.. I hope this helps.. So, leave a comment about how you feel, and any ideas if you have about making passwords..

See ya..

How to Reset the Windows Administartor Password

Today I'm going to tell you how you can reset your windows password, in case if you forget those. I use this method for years when any of my friend comes up with the same problem. This method will work with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
The first thing in resetting password is, trying to login as Administrator. Windows has a default account called Administrator which more people forget to set a password while installing OS. You can login as Administrator by booting windows in safe mode. Then, login to the Administrator account without any password to reset your user account. But guys like me, never leave our account opened as we give password to default Administrator Account. In such case, we need to do something more.
In windows your passwords are stored in a location (C:\windows\system32\config\) as sam file which cannot be opened or edited directly when windows is running. But you can edit those by booting up from a linux kernal. I know lot of you are not familiar with linux, and also don't want to spend some time with typing in console. So, I came up with a linux kernal where all the commands to access the SAM are pre-loaded as shell scripts. So all you have to do is, download the kernal, setup your usb or cd, then boot your pc with that. It shows the options, and all you have to do is follow..
Download LinuxKernal.zip from here.. password "ruleyourpc"

So, I'll stop bluffing and give you the link.. Why can't you give a try????http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v5.9.3.html

Use it and leave a comment  how you feel about Notepad++. See you tomorrow with another Tip..

How FIREFOX can be used as a Key Logger

I know you are surprised.. But it is possible up to some extend. Firefox keeps your browsing data as SQLite databases in your Firefox profile

folder. If I say browsing history, You may think it is just the details of visited web pages. But the fact is, it is more than that.. Firefox not only keeps your visited web pages, but also the data you entered.. Now most of you wondering whether you can get the saved passwords. But Fortunately those are encrypted. Ok. Come to the point, I'll explain you how you can check those data by using an open source browser called SQLite Database Browser. The data includes all you type in a web form except passwords. Which means, your credit card details are visible here.

Viewing the Firefox Profile Data

01. Download the SQLite Browser From

02. Open SQLite Database Browser, click open database under file menu or click the open database Icon.

03. Go to the Firefox profile folder. In Vista and Windows 7 it will be in C:\Users\ADMIN\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\2cbfl1k7.default (ADMIN is the user, in your case it may be your name or something)

04. Now you can see no of files with an extension .sqlite. Those are the files where Firefox store data.

05. Now open formhistory.sqlite with SQLite browser. The reason I mentioned this file is, it is the file where firefox store your form data. Thus, anything you've entered in a web page such as email, security answers, name, address, etc, etc

Actually I left firefox long ago because it eats lot of memory space. I like firefox coz of it's rich add on collection specially Grease Monkey which I used to automate lot of things.

Now, I leave it to you to discover the data which will be interesting.. :)

There are other .sqlite files contains data what the file name specifies, for example, the file downloads.sqlite contains the details of the downloads you made. So, open one by one and see what you got..

And, what about passwords? It is in signons.sqlite, but encrypted using your master password as salt. :)

So, try n discover, if you find anything interesting let me know, Pls leave a comment here..

The Lesson: Clear your History If you use a common computer..  :)
